The Elemental will then be a 1/1 creature and survive because Seize the Storm will either be in your graveyard or in exile

It also puts your opponents in a really tough spot: Either block and give you another combat, or don't block and take a huge chunk of damage

It also produces a creature token when it enters which is (once again) great for decks that want fodder to sacrifice

Dont get me wrong, there are still some very good budget options, it is just that the non-budget options are much better cards, obviously

This makes the benefit of these abilities always being available in your Command Zone a bit of a waste on their own, as a payoff is worthless if you cant make any tokens to take advantage of it
